I finally dug up the proper trope to describe one of the things I think could be improved a lot as far as the ThorHammer story goes. http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/FourLinesAllWaiting

This gets especially noticeable in the most recent installments, where we have to follow Tamean and others on Ciron, Ian, the Amar'I royal guards, the ThorHammer crew (minus Elizabeth, who is elsewhere), and then Stanton's 'team' all on various parts of Kahmin. This does get kinda...complicated to keep track of at times. Hopefully at least some of the plotlines will either merge or be resolved soon, so that the narrative can proceed a bit more linearly. Maybe try to stick to around two alternating pieces of the plot, no more.

If the opportunity to do some editing on the early stories presents itself, you might want to consider trimming some of the irrelevant plotlines. Well, unless you have actually thought up a good way to get some use out of them, but I don't particularly see how.

I'll be happy just to see new chapters posting again. How long has it been since the last chapter post? I think it was before the forum change.
At least I had something else to do all summer. I started reading Metamor Keep in the spring and just finished the last of the (currently 460 stories) archives this weekend.

It's been like a year and a half or so, IIRC. Maybe if the chapters were a bit smaller they'd come out on a more timely basis.

If life were a bit less complex and busy right now, I'd have time to match my muse, patience, and schedule, to produce.

That's not an excuse, though. I know I've been off the planet for a long time!

I hope that didn't sound critical, I just thought that perhaps smaller chunks of story would be easier to fit into a busy life.

Not like you get paid for this stuff anyhow, yes?

Just so you know, we're still (occasionally) here and watching. Get what you can when you can.

Would it help or be any easier if you took a tangent story, like maybe Caryss, just to tie things up for her? I'd really like to see that finished up, even if it's just a short chapter added to her story thread. Then as your muse strikes on the main story, you can get back to that.
